Discover Seoulspice

The menu is built around Korean-inspired grain bowls, and what stood out to me right away was how customizable everything is. You start by choosing a base like rice or greens, then layer on proteins such as spicy pork, tofu, or chicken, followed by vegetables, sauces, and toppings. I went with a bowl that mixed kimchi, pickled radish, sweet potatoes, and gochujang sauce, and the balance was spot on. The flavors were bold without being overwhelming, which is harder to pull off than it sounds. Friends I’ve brought here since then have built completely different bowls, and every time the feedback has been consistently positive.

From a nutrition standpoint, this place checks a lot of boxes. According to data from the USDA, meals built around whole grains, vegetables, and lean proteins align well with recommended dietary patterns, and that’s exactly what this diner emphasizes. The bowls feel filling but not heavy, which explains why it’s popular with students, gym-goers, and office workers alike. I’ve personally eaten here before evening workouts and never felt sluggish afterward, which isn’t something I can say about most fast-casual spots.

One thing I appreciate as a repeat customer is the consistency. A 2023 report by the National Restaurant Association noted that consistency is one of the top factors influencing customer trust and repeat visits, and this location delivers on that front. Whether it’s lunchtime rush or a slower evening, the portions, presentation, and flavor profiles stay reliable. That kind of operational discipline doesn’t happen by accident; it usually reflects strong training and clear processes behind the scenes.

Reviews around College Park echo my own experiences. Many diners mention the friendly service, quick turnaround, and fresh ingredients. I’ve seen firsthand how staff handle special requests, like adjusting spice levels or accommodating dietary preferences, without slowing down the line. That level of flexibility matters, especially for groups with mixed tastes or restrictions.

The atmosphere leans modern and relaxed, making it easy to sit and eat or grab your order to go. While it’s not a full-service restaurant, the diner-style setup works in its favor. You don’t feel rushed, but you also don’t wait long. It’s the kind of place where you can meet a friend between classes or stop by solo without feeling out of place.

Of course, no restaurant is perfect. Seating can feel a bit tight during peak hours, and if you’re craving traditional Korean dishes like stews or barbecue platters, this menu is more focused on bowls than classic spreads. That said, for what it sets out to do-serve fresh, flavorful, Korean-inspired comfort food-it delivers with confidence.

What keeps me coming back is how approachable everything feels. There’s nothing intimidating about the menu, yet the flavors are layered and interesting. It’s casual food done thoughtfully, and in a town with plenty of dining options, that combination earns loyalty fast.

  • Tried it first time yesterday with my husband. It has the nice concept. I tried the college park location and the food was very tasty. I got the noodles and he got the rice. We got the bulgogi beef which was very tasty. We also got the sac sac grape drink which was very good. Over all good experience

  • We ordered one portion of the rice and one portion of noodles. To be put in simple words it’s like Korean chipotle with multiple meat options, sides and sauces that you can add. The portions were very good for the prices. Out of the both, the noodles were on the top. The chicken was very tender. Out of the sauce, ginger carrot is only favorite. Wish they had some appetizers like Korean fries chicken. But overall the food is excellent and highly recommend it.

  • My first Korrito!!!! I had a beef Korrito from Seoulspice and was pretty satisfied. I wish it was as thick as the image on the website and I wish maybe it could be made with a less thick piece of seaweed, but I did love all the flavors. If you were to get a Korrito, I’d say just add all the toppings you want. I won’t make any recommendations because I think it can be good any way. I also had the Kale Apple Juice, which was very interesting but the weird combo was not for me. This review might sound a little pessimistic, but Seoulspice was really good. I’ll definitely be eating here again and maybe trying one of the bowls. The rating will only go up from here, but for now I give Seoulspice 4 stars!

  • The food was awesome as this was my first time trying it. I HIGHLY recommend dinning here as it will not disappoint. Not to mention the employees were extremely polite and happy to help make recommendations for toppings and such. Will definitely be back!

  • I love a good choose-your-own-adventure dining experience, and this spot nails it. All the ingredients are well-seasoned and super fresh. What I really appreciate is that there's no hidden cost when customizing your bowl--everything's upfront. Nothing worse than getting to the register and being nickel-and-dimed after placing your order. Great value, great flavor. I'll definitely be back! P.S. -- They also have really good cookies! And trust me, I'm a big cookie snob, so that's saying something.
